October 21
Daddy's been working hard so that you can see Hannah walk! Check her
out here.
October 20
Hannah's favorite cartoons that are on the Disney Channel came to Los
Angeles today in a LIVE show. So we took Hannah into L.A to the Glendale
Galleria to see Playhouse
Disney LIVE!
She loved it! It was fun to watch her expressions and excitement to
see her favorite cartoon characters in person.
October 15
Where has the time gone??? Our baby is 18 months old today! Hard to
believe it! She had a doctors appointment this morning...it was suppose
to be a well check, but turned out to be a sick visit as she caught
mommy's cold. However, her ears were clear and her lungs were clear!
Yippeee! That is always a major relief. She weighs 22 lbs 9oz and is
31 1/2 inches tall. She's a tall and skinny little girl...with big feet!
She wears a size 6!!
Anyways, shes right on schedule now for development, now that she is
walking! She doesn't need another well check until 24 months! But I'm
sure, given her history, we'll see Dr Berry a few times this winter.
:)
October 4
Finally, at the age of 17 1/2 months old, Hannah has decided to walk!!!!!!!!!
It is so bizarre to see her walking around the house. Afterall, she
has been crawling for just about a year! Will try to get some pictures
of her walking up soon!
September 15
Hannah is 17 months old today and is doing great! We entered her into
a crawling contest 2 weeks ago, and she won 2nd place!! The lil stinker
was in 1st place until she came within 2 inches of the finish line and
just sat there...sat there long enough for another baby to take the
1st place title! But hey, 2nd place still got a $50 shopping spree at
Sears! And besides that...what other 16 1/2 month old can enter a crawling
contest and win?? So that should answer your question as to whether
or not she is walking yet. She's still crawling about...gaining speed
as the days go by.
Her vocabulary is expanding and at times it seems as if she talks nonstop.
Her health has been great! She's gaining weight and is growing physically,
as well as developmentally!
August 17
Dr. Saito called this afternoon. He and Hannah's pediatrician, Dr. Berry
spoke about Hannah's case. Together they have decided to put off any
further invasive studies. They both feel Hannah has a condition called
"Dystonia".
Dystonia is also seen in patients with Cerebral Palsey, as well as
stroke victims. When I asked Dr. Saito if this condition can be outgrown,
he said yes, that it's a slow process and it takes time. He wants us
to continue to do the exercises that speech therapy gave us. And between
him and Dr. Berry they will continue to monitor her progress.
So this is the fourth doctor to tell us Hannah will outgrow this swallowing
problem. This news is rather encouraging and we just need to continue
to pray and have faith, and patience!!
Thank you to all of our family and friends who have prayed for Hannah
and who continue to pray for her on a regular basis. We appreciate your
prayers!
August 16
Hannah saw Dr. Saito, the neurologist today. He doesn't think that Hannah's
swallowing problem is due to any nerve malfunctioning, but rather is
muscle related. He was suprised that Hannah wasn't walking yet, but
he did contribute her not walking on her own yet to all the setbacks
she has had with hospitalization, illnesses, etc.
His recommendations were to repeat the Barium Cookie Swallow at a facility
that handles pediatrics, he suggested UC Irvine. He also wants her pediatrician,
who also specializes in gasteroenterology to scope her esophagus to
look for any abnormal formations, etc. He also ordered a ton of blood
work to rule out any underlying muscle disease, by looking at Hannah,
he doesn't think she has any muscle disease, but he at least wanted
to rule it out. Poor baby had to have 6 vials of blood drawn!!
August 14
Last night was Hannah's last visit with Speech therapy. The therapist
isn't recommending any further therapy until Hannah is evaluated by
a Pediatric Neurologist to determine if perhaps there are some immature
nerves that are contributing to Hannah's swallowing problem.
We saw Hannah's pediatrician today, and he went ahead and reffered
us to the Pediatric Neurologist. Hannah has an appointment with him
on Thursday.
August 7
Click here to see a video of Hannah from
our trip a couple of weekends ago.
July 31
Hannah finally had her 15 month check up today. She was suppose
to have it 3 weeks ago, but we needed to cancel that appointment due
to Hannah having pneumonia at the time.
Hannah now weighs 20lbs 8oz and is 30 3/4 inches long. Her lungs were
clear and everything else checked out just fine as well. Hannah's Pediatrician
said if she isn't walking by 18 months old, he'll send us to a neurologist.
Hannah got 3 vaccinations today and we have to return in 2 weeks for
2 more. OUCH! The appointment went well....finally, Hannah was seen
for a well check and not a sick visit!!
July 27-29
Hannah's 1st big trip!!! We rented a minivan and drove 8 hours
to the suburbs of Sacramento to share in Uncle Scott's special day of
being baptised.
As it turned out, Aunt Kim and Uncle Ed came from Portland, and Gramie
came, and of course Aunt Laura and Alisha were there. So Hannah had
a very busy weekend with lots of people who haven't seen her in over
a year competing for her attention. However, she wasn't very cooperative.
She was very much a mommy and daddy's girl the entire weekend. She loved
playing with her one and only cousin and Alisha loved playing with her
as well. They'll get to play together lots more in the next couple of
weeks as Scott, Laura, and Alisha are coming down for a visit and then
Alisha will be staying with Gramie for a few weeks.
Hannah did extremely well on the car ride both to Sacramento and home.
It's a long drive for an adult, let alone a 15 month old who's strapped
in a car seat. We did stop a couple of times so that everyone could
stretch and move around. Hannah also did very well with sleeping away
from home. Up until this weekend, she's never slept any where other
than home except for Gramma's and at the hospital. She proved to us
that we can most defiantely go away over night again!!
To see new pics of Hannah with the family you can visit her relatives
page, the family page , and Hannah's
pictures.
July 23
Another meeting with the speech therapist for therapy. After
some research, the therapist thought that perhaps the reason behind
Hannah's swallowing incoordination and not walking on her own yet at
15 months old is due to an immature Central Nervous System. It was just
a suggestion, not an official diagnosis.
Although the therapist has never worked with a young patient with the
type of problem that Hannah has, she is working hard at finding information
for us and giving us exercises to do at home with Hannah.
July 21
Hannah's 1st trip to the Beach! To read all about it and see
pictures, visit our events page.
July 17
Gramma's first trip to Disneyland
with Hannah! Gramma got an annual pass for Mother's Day and we went
and got it processed today. We had lots of fun and look forward to many
more trips to the Happiest Place on Earth with Gramma!
July 16
Hannah started occupational therapy tonight. Tonight was basically
teaching us techniques for feeding Hannah safely, in hopes of avoiding
aspiration. Most of the stuff that was suggested were things that we
are already doing.
We will continue to meet with the therapist on Mondays.
July 12
We got another call today saying that Hannah has been approved
for 5 visits for occupational therapy. At the end of those visits, Hannah
will need to be re-evaluated as to whether or not further therapy is
needed.
Hannah has an appointment for occupational therapy on Monday, July
16th.
July 9
We got a call this afternoon saying that our insurance has approved
an occupational therapy evaluation. We were suprised when they said
that they had appointments available for this evening. So we jumped
at the opportunity to get Hannah evaluated.
The occupational therapist said that she saw no obstacles and no reason
as to why Hannah couldn't be taught to swallow correctly. She said that
in time and with exercise, Hannah's swallowing could become coordinated!
Needless to say, this was the most encouraging news we've had in months.
The next step is for a report to be sent to our insurance stating Hannah's
need for therapy. We should hear sometime this week if we are approved.
July 7
It's been a rough couple of months. Hannah seems to be teething
for what seems like forever. She has had about 8 teeth trying to come
through for about the last 2 months, 2 finally broke through in the
last 2 weeks. That makes 4 teeth total!! She has also had a few ear
infections and it appears she may have aspirated some fluid into her
lungs. She has a mild case of pneumonia at the present time. But we
were able to avoid hospitalization. We finally may be getting some occupational
therapy maybe as soon as next week for her suck/swallow incoordination.
Hannah is growing and developing right on schedule. She is looking
like a little girl, hardly looking like a baby anymore. She still is
not walking. We think she figured out how good she has it by being carried
everywhere and figures what's the hurry in learning to walk!
When Hannah is good, she is really good. When Hannah is bad, she's
really bad. She has quite the temper and throws an occasional temper
tantrum that lands her in time out in her crib. She's pretty good at
whinning and crying when she doesn't get her way. And then can snap
out of her snit just as fast as she got into it. We call her "bipolar
baby" during those times. She's very clingy and is pretty much
a mama's girl. She can be very shy at times, and at other times she
flirts with anyone that pays any attention to her out in stores.
She continues to increase her vocabulary and it seems like she is always
talking. One of the most rewarding things happened recently was when
Hannah started signing to us. Since Hannah was 7 months old, we have
been trying to teach her the signs for "eat", "more",
and "please". She finally showed us she was listening to us
all these months and signs these three words all the time now. We are
working on signs for "drink", "thank-you", and "all
done" now.
Hannah's receptive skills are really good. You can ask her to do things
and she does them. Except for when she doesn't want to do them, or you
are trying to get her to show off. Then she pretends she has no idea
what you're saying. She knows where her nose, ears, mouth, and toes
are. And can find them on you. And she can push certain buttons on her
toys when asked to.
Despite the constant stresses and worries of Hannah's health, she brings
more blessings than we ever imagined. We are constantly thanking the
Lord truly for blessing us with a wonderful baby.
May 25
Hannah continues to choke and have difficulty in swallowing
thin liquids. So Hannah had a Barium Cookie Swallow done today. The
results of this test told us that even though we continue to thicken
Hannah's bottles, she is aspirating thickened formula, and the liquid
sits on her vocal cords. We finally got an answer as to what Hannah's
problem was...she has a suck/swallow incoordination. The speech therapist
who ran the test suggested we try getting Hannah some occupational therapy
in hopes of stregthening those swallowing muscles.
April
Hannah had her 12 month pictures taken this month. This particular
pose is Hannah in one of Darcy's dresses from when she was a baby. The
picture of Darcy was taken when she was 8 months old.

April 16
Hannah had her 12 month well check today. She now weighs 19
pounds and 12 ounces, and is 29 1/4 inches long. Her Pediatrician, Dr.
Kwasman was very pleased with how well she has been doing.
April 15
Happy 1st Birthday Hannah!!! We can hardly believe it's been
an entire year since Hannah was born. Because today was also Easter,
we celebrated the two occassions with Gramma and Grandpa Dahl. Gramma
put on a nice dinner and made Hannah her very own special cake.
April 7
Hannah's 1st birthday party!! To read more about this big event,
go to our events page.
March 23
Hannah's 1st sleep-over!! Besides all the sleep-overs she's
had in the hospital, tonight was Hannah's first time to spend the night
at Gramma and Grandpa's. Mommy and Daddy went away overnight for their
5th wedding anniversary. Hannah was a good girl and slept just fine
away from home.
March
We're quickly approaching Hannah's 1st birthday. She is clapping
her hands, praising the Lord, waving 'bye-bye' and sometimes 'Hi'. She
continues to cruise the furniture with confidence, but doesn't quite
have the confidence to let go and walk on her own. That's okay, because
we finally realized that once she starts walking, we're the ones who'll
have to keep up with her!
February
Hannah is 10 months old this month and is developing and growing
so much. She keeps us busier then ever, which is making it difficult
to keep up with keeping the web site updated.
Hannah is quite the little talker. She says 'mam' and 'dada' quite
a bit and we think she is beginning to make the connection of what those
words actually mean. She loves to cruise around the furniture and loves
to walk when you hold her hands. She is waving 'bye bye' now as well.
January 17
First time to the doctors in over 2 months! And today's visit was for her 9 month well check. Hannah now weighs 17 lbs 12 oz, which was a gain of 4 lbs 2oz in only 3 months. She is 28 inches long. Her pediatrician was very pleased with her progress and said that she is growing and developing just perfectly. Praise the Lord!!!
January 15
Hannah is 9 months old today! Hard to believe that her first birthday is quickly approaching. She is crawlingl all over the place and is getting quite good, not to mention fast! She has also started pulling herself up on things, she thinks she is hotstuff when she does it too.
Hannah is very playful. She loves to roll the ball back and forth with you and loves to climb all over you when you lay on the floor. She loves music and loves to read books with daddy.
She is quite the eater. She continues to need the thickening agent in her bottles, but otherwise she is doing exceptionally well with eating. She loves her solids and can very easily eat 2 jars in a sitting. She recently started eating Cheerios and loves them! It's fun to watch her dexterity improve from day to day.
We've entered the stage where we've had to start using "NO" when she does something she's not suppose to. On a few occassions, it's been hard to keep a straight face when you tell her "NO" and she just smiles back at you. Awww... one of the joys of parenting.
She brings us more smiles and more blessings than we ever imagined a child could do. The Lord really blessed us with a wonderful child.
January 9
While Hannah and Mommy were at the mall today sitting on a bench,
an employee of the portrait studio asked if she could practice taking
pictures on Hannah, and that we would be given a free 10x13 for our
time. The picture turned out pretty good for something so spontaneous.
And since Hannah will be 9 months old in 7 days, it worked out that
it can be her 9 month picture!

December 25
Hannah's 1st Christmas!! She was very spoiled to say the least. She was really into the unwrapping and looking at the presents. She got tons of new toys, so many, that some needed to be put in her toy box for awhile.
To read more about the Frasers Christmas, please visit our events page.
December 10
Hannah was dedicated at church today. To read and see pictures
of that event, please go to our events
page.
November 28
Hannah has 2 teeth!! Her two bottom teeth finally broke through
in the last day or two!
November 21
Last week was the first week in over 2 months that Hannah did
not have a doctors visit of some sort. Praise the Lord! It's also been
3 weeks since she had been weighed. We knew she was getting heavier,
but we wanted to know how much heavier. So we took her in for a weight
check today...and she now weighs 16 lbs 1 oz!! That is a gain of 1 lb
and 4 oz in 3 weeks.
November 15
Well, so far, so good. Have made it to mid-November without
a hospital visit.
Hannah is 7 months old now. It's hard to believe that she is already
that old. She is rolling all over the place and has recently started
'army' crawling, with a few regular crawls in between. She continues
to sleep through the night. The Lord blessed us with a baby that loves
her sleep as much as we do! In the mornings when she is ready to get
up for the day, she lays in her crib 'talking' to her self until someone
comes to get her. It's so cute to hear her do that. She is talking more
and more.
She continues to eat well. We are still using the thickening agent
in her bottles and it is continuing to work really well. She loves her
solids! She is very interested in what we are eating when we eat in
front of her. It won't be long before she is eating off our plates!
November 1
Took Hannah to see Dr Kwasman today for a little cough she has.
She checked out fine. But the most exciting news is her weight!! She
weighed 14lbs 13oz. She has gained 2lbs 1oz in 3 weeks, since she has
been home from the hospital! We never thought we'd be so excited to
see someone in our family actually gain weight!
October 17
Hannah had her 6 month check up today. We were very pleased
when she was weighed to discover that she had gained 14 ounces in only
5 days!!!! That brings her weight to 13 lbs 10oz. This is her heaviest
weight. She is 26 and a half inches long.
Although she is still a little underweight, our pediatrician said she
is developing right on schedule and was given a clean bill of health...finally!!!
October 15
It's hard to believe it, but Hannah is 6 months old today. She's
halfway to a year old! We bought her a high chair this weekend and she
loves it! She is eating a couple meals a day of solids and loves sitting
in her new chair. While we were in the hospital, she started sitting
on her own, with no help. She has continued to do that on a few occassions
at home. She has her 6 month check up this week, so we'll see how she's
growing then.
October 10
After 5 days of IV antibiotics and breathing treatments every
4 hours, Hannah was discharged from the hospital late this afternoon.
Once again we're sure happy to be home! And once again, we're thankful
and grateful to everyone that prayed for Hannah.

October 6
After yesterday's weight check, we thought we were finally over
the hump and on the right road as far as Hannah's health, we were wrong.
Late yesterday afternoon, Hannah started coughing and wheezing, so
we took back to see the Pediatrician. We were sent home with a breathing
treatment machine and medicine to give every 4 hours. The dose we gave
this morning didn't help, therefore the Pediatrician advised us to go
straight to the ER to be seen.
Hannah was admitted once again to Riverside
Community Hospital. They believe she has aspirated as a result of
her choking and coughing when she eats.
This is her third hospitalization in 2 months.

October 5
Took Hannah this morning for a weight check...and she gained
another 5 ounces!! That's a total of 10 ounces in 14 days. She recently
started on carrots in addition to her rice cereal and her mashed potatoes.
The solids are doing the trick as far as her weight is concerned.
October 3
Hannah had her Sweat
test this morning. We weren't expecting to get the results until
her appointment on Thursday, but within a half an hour of being home,
Dr. Kwasman called to let us know that the results were normal. Hannah
does not have Cystic Fibrosis!!!!
Thank you once again to everyone who continues to pray for Hannah!
October 1
Hannah had pictures taken today for her almost 6 month birthday.
Take a look here.
September 29
Took Hannah in for a weight check today, she gained
5 ounces in 7 days!!!! She's definitely tolerating the cereal and mashed
potatoes!
September 22
Hannah continues not to gain weight, despite having
had surgery. We took it upon ourselves to take her to a Pediatric Gastroenterologist
to be evaluated.
After looking over the Upper GI films and reports and hearing all we
had to say in regards to Hannah's health, Dr. Berry feels that Hannah
has reflux. He put her on Zantac, switched her formula, told us to restart
the rice cereal, and give her mashed potatoes with butter. The butter
is to see whether or not her body absorbs the fat...how do we tell that
you ask...by looking very closely at her poopy diapers!
Dr. Berry also wants Hannah to have a Sweat
test done to rule out Cystic
Fibrosis. Although he says it's very unlikely that she has it, he
wants to rule it out because she has some of the symptoms that accompany
Cystic Fibrosis.
We return to see Dr. Berry in 2 weeks for a weight check and to see
how Hannah is tolerating all the changes in her diet.
September 4
After 4 days of sitting around in her hospital
room, and making sure Hannah could tolerate formula and keep it down,
she came home this evening. And once again, we are happy to be all together
as a family again.
Thank you so very much to all of our family and friends who visited
us in the hospital and kept us company. But most of all, thank you for
all of your thoughts and prayers for us during this difficult time.
We saw God answer numerous prayers this weekend and we know it's a result
of so many people praying. Thank you!
September 2
Hannah is doing extremely well, despite the fact she just had surgery.
She is rolling around in her crib and talking more than ever. She is
smiling and acting like her old self.

September 1
The ultrasound results confirmed Pyloric Stenosis, and after waiting
all day long, Hannah was taken to surgery around 6:00pm this evening.
We were also able to get our ENT to coordinate his schedule with the
surgeon and we were able to have Hannah's tongue tie clipped while she
was under general anesthesia.
The surgery went well. The Stenosis was fixed. We got to see Hannah
sometime after 8:00pm. She was so red and puffy from the medications
and the anesthesia. Steven is staying with her tonight.
So many prayers were answered in regards to this surgery.

August 31
Hannah had a follow up appointment this morning for the results of her
Upper GI she had yesterday. Turns out she does not have Reflux, but
she has a condition called Pyloric
Stenosis. Hannah has been admitted to Riverside
Community Hospital once again.
A surgeon evaluated Hannah this evening and ordered an abdominal ultrasound
to be positively sure she indeed has Pyloric Stenosis, before deciding
that surgery is needed.
August 24
At the request and referral of our ENT who sees Hannah for her tongue
tie, we went to the San Diego Children's
Hospital to see a Pediatric ENT for a consult on her continued coughing
and choking.
Because we were unsure of what would happen at the visit, we were told
to bring a packed bag in case Hannah was admitted to the hospital for
tests. Thankfully she wasn't admitted because Dr.
Kearns was able to look at Hannah's esophagus by sticking a scope
up her nose and down the back of her throat. He said that her throat
and voice box were red and irritated from what he believes to be the
result of reflux. Her signs and symptoms highly suggest gastric reflux.
We will follow up on that with an Upper GI next week.
We would like to thank all of our family and friends who have been
praying for Hannah and for our family over the course of the last few
weeks. We know that the positive outcome of Hannah's appointment today
was a result of all the prayers that were said on her behalf. Thank
you from the bottoms of our hearts for your prayers.
August 22
Hannah had her 4 month check up today. She now weighs 12 pounds 6 ounces
and is 26 inches in length. She got 3 shots once again. Dr. Kwasman
said we could go ahead and give Hannah rice cereal now, so maybe we'll
try that this week.
Hannah continues to cough and to choke when she eats, so an Upper GI
was ordered for next week to determine whether or not she has gastric
reflux.
August 15
Hannah has now completed 1/3 of her first year of her life. She turned
4 months old today.
She has passed some developmental milestones since coming home from
the hospital. She is now reaching out and grabbing things and will hold
her rattle if you offer it to her. She is also rolling over like crazy,
rolling from her back to her tummy, and is getting quite good at it.
She's been doing so much lately, it's fun and exciting to see her progress
to new and different things.
August 4
Hannah came home from the hospital today. We're a little nervous, she
does still have some wheezing and congestion, not to mention she has
four different medications we need to be giving her.
And by the way, Darcy is doing fine. She was discharged Wednesday afternoon.
A little slow moving, but on the mend.
We're just so thankful and happy that we are together again as a family.

August 1
Hard to believe, but it was a year ago today that we discovered we were
pregnant. If you'd like to take a trip down memory lane and re-live
the updates and exciting memories of Lil'BabyFras, click here.
Today should have been a day filled with pleasant memories, looking
back to the day of finding out we were going to be parents, and the
excitement in telling Darcy's parents. It was a day filled with memories,
just not pleasant ones.
Last night, around 12:30am, Hannah woke up crying and coughing. She
continued to wake every hour or so. To make matters much worse, upon
Hannah's waking up, Darcy noticed a sharp pain in her abdomen, that
kept her (and Steven) awake the rest of the night. Around 6:30am, Darcy
decided it was time to go to the ER. Darcy's mom came and sat with Hannah.
As the morning went on, Hannah got worse. While Darcy was sitting in
the ER, Steven took Hannah to be seen by the Pediatrician. When Steven
returned to the ER, he was empty handed, Hannah had been admitted to
the hospital with Respiratory Distress and possible Bronchiolitis.
After hours of waiting in the ER, several tests, and seeing a surgeon,
it was determined that Darcy needed immediate surgery to have her appendix
removed. She was taken to the OR within 2 hours of seeing the surgeon.
What a nightmare, Darcy and Hannah are in the hospital at the same
time...on different floors.

July 30
Hannah is 3 and a half months old today. And she rolled over tonight!!!
She rolled from her back onto her tummy 6 times. Of course we were able
to get some of the rolls on video. Now the true test will be to see
if she remembers how to roll tomorrow!
July 15
Hannah is 3 months old today. Where is the time going? It's hard to
believe that 3 months ago today we were at the hospital awaiting for
her grand arrival into the world.
Hannah is smiling more and more everyday. She's making sounds and grunts
more everyday as well. She started teething this last week. She is drooling
like a leaky faucet. You can actually see two bottom teeth just under
her gums. While it could take weeks or even months for them to break
through, she has officially entered into the teething stage.
She continues to sleep through the night. No matter how disrupted her
schedule may get during the day or how fussy she is in the evenings,
she never ceases to amaze us by sleeping the night through. The Lord
truly blessed us with a sleeping child.
She's reached a point where she likes to be played with. She loves
to stand and thinks she is hot stuff when she is standing. She also
loves to be lifted above your head as if she was flying. Both in which
bring a huge smile and sometimes a giggle or two. We're enjoying her
new found playfulness and are anxious to have her get even more playful
as the months go by. But not too anxious to see her grow up so quickly.
June 27
Time is flying by. Hannah had her 10 week check up today. She now weighs
11 lbs. 4 oz and is 24.5 inches long. Dr. Kwasman, her pediatrician,
said that Hannah is off the charts as far as her length goes. He also
said that she'll probably be tall and skinny. We've been trying to figure
out which side of the family those genes come from!
Hannah also got 3 shots today. She did pretty good though, a lot better
than the last time when she only got 1 shot. Hannah doesn't have to
return for another well baby check up until Mid August, when she'll
be 4 1/2 months old.
June 15
Hannah is now 2 months old. Things are continuing to go well. Hannah
continues to sleep through the night, which is really a blessing. She
is smiling more and more everyday, and is getting a little bit more
active in moving her arms and legs about. She recently discovered her
feet! It is so cute to see her stare down at her feet and wiggle her
feet to see them move.
June 3
We've been blessed with Hannah for 7 weeks now and we're happy to report
that she has slept through the night every night for the last week.
She goes to bed between 9:30 and 10 pm and sleeps until 5 or 6 am.
June 1
Hannah and Mommy went to Disneyland
again today. Hannah rode Pirates of the Caribbean, the Mark Twain Riverboat,
and It's a Small World for the very first time. She was really alert
and looking around at all the different colors on Small World.
May 30
Hannah had her 6 week check up today. She weighs 10 lbs. 4 oz and is
23 inches long. We've been struggling since her 2 week check up to get
her weight above her birth weight and were happy that the scale finally
showed us some progress.
Dr. Kwasman said everything checks out great and Hannah is continuing
to develop right on schedule.
May 27
Hannah is six weeks old today. There is a new page of pictures of her
here.
May 19
It's hard to believe that Hannah will be 5 weeks old tomorrow. Time
flies when you're having fun! She's starting to smile now and every
once and awhile she lets out a little coo. She really smiles a lot when
you lay her in her crib and she looks up at her mobile and sees her
bear friends. Steven thinks Hannah likes her bear friends more than
she likes him 'cause he gets more smiles out of her when he lays her
in her crib.
Hannah had her first trip to Disneyland
tonight. Read more about that adventure here
May 10
Hannah is now three and half weeks old. To answer the question that
is most often asked, she is not sleeping through the night yet. She
has slept up to seven hours in a row once or twice, but she is usually
waking up once during the night for a meal. She continues to be a blessing.

April 20
Hannah and Darcy are doing well. Hannah is now starting to get on a
schedule. She is waking up twice during the night, but that still gives
us plenty of opportunity to sleep. We are continually amazed at all
of the blessings God has given us through Hannah.
This is how Hannah looks most of the time as she spends most of her
day sleeping and growing. We've spent most of our time this first week
watching her sleep. It is amazing how engrossing that can be.

friends and family for their support and prayers over these last nine
